Baxter Seminary Presidents

All of the Presidents of Baxter Seminary were indispensable to the school and all contributed to the building out of its campus facilities, growth in student population, development of courses and course work, fund raising, and the promotion of the seminary to the public.  The one with the greatest impact and the most driving force behind the school was Dr. Harry L. Upperman.  Without his efforts and dedication to the school and to the people in this rural area the school would not have been able to continue to serve the people that, in fact, it did serve so very well.

During its 52 year life time, Baxter Seminary educated over 10,000 students.  They came from the county, state, nation, South America, Cuba, and European countries.  There were 5 Presidents at the helm across these years.
